Our Story

Born from the soul of India, woven with love and legacy

The Beginning

A Dream Stitched in Gold

RAASA was founded with a singular vision — to celebrate the extraordinary artisanship of India and bring it to the modern wardrobe, without compromise.

The name "RAASA" comes from the Sanskrit word meaning essence — the distilled emotion of joy, love, and celebration. We believe that what you wear is an expression of who you are, and we are here to help you express yourself in the most beautiful way possible.

We began in a small studio in Jaipur with just 12 designs and a team of 8 karigars. Today, RAASA is home to over 200 artisans across India and serves thousands of customers who trust us with their most precious occasions.

Our Vision

What We Stand For

We are more than a fashion brand. We are custodians of India's textile heritage.

Heritage First

We draw inspiration from India's rich textile traditions — from Mughal zardozi to Rajasthani bandhani — and reimagine them for today's woman.

Sustainable Craft

We are committed to sustainable fashion — natural dyes, handloom fabrics, and responsible sourcing that protects both artisans and the planet.

Artisan Empowerment

Every purchase you make directly supports the livelihood of Indian artisans, helping preserve traditional crafts for future generations.

The Making

Where Art Meets Fashion

Our design process begins months before a collection launches. Our team of designers travels across India — visiting artisan clusters, studying textiles, and sketching by hand — before a single stitch is made.

We work with over 15 specialized craft clusters, including Banarasi weavers, Lucknow chikankari artisans, Jaipur block printers, and Hyderabad zardozi embroiderers.
